The cost

What did it cost our God, Jehovah,
to fashion the cosmos?
Nothing so far as we know, but
to convert seditious souls?
The cost for our deserved conviction
was incurring crucifixion,
all to cure our dereliction
and ensure we’ve no eviction
to the devil’s jurisdiction.
