Latter days

When the latter days are ushered,
all the reprobates and sluggards,
each confidential matter muttered,
every skeleton within the cupboard,
and elephant will be uncovered,
until these simple words are uttered,
sending through the sphere a shudder:
“For your sin and shame I’ve suffered,
and those who call my Name beloved,
consumed my body, drank my blood,
shall take my hand and rise above.”
